About this template
Use this classic Football Academy Certificate to honour players, finishers and teams. It suits football and basketball clubs, coaches and academies, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. Roboto Slab sets the title and Lato carries the details, with corner ornaments giving the page its character. You will also find it under Course Completion on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
In recognition of [Name]’s outstanding performance at [Competition].
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the phase, season and coaching hours fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Roboto Slab and Lato. Colours are yours to change: try Academy Green, or match your own brand colours. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with El Messiri.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
