About this template
Made with emergency services, public bodies and civic volunteers in mind, this Lifeguard Certificate helps you honour players, finishers and teams without starting from a blank page. Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
[Name] finished [Event] in [Time] on [Date]. Every step counted.
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the award, rescue swim and valid until fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Surf Patrol or Coral Lagoon colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
