About this template
Here is a bright way to reward students and staff: the Mint Geometric Coding Club Certificate, a template that suits secondary schools, form tutors and student councils. On CerShare it comes in the Mint Terminal colour scheme, with a geometric pattern as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Arvo with JetBrains Mono. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
Awarded to [Name] for perfect attendance throughout [Term or Year]. Thank you for being here every day.
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the languages, projects shipped and club hours fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Arvo and JetBrains Mono. Colours are yours to change: try Syntax Light, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
