About this template
Use this traditional Summer School Certificate to reward students and staff. It suits universities, research groups and academic departments, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. Look closely and you will notice a sunburst and leaves and branches, set off by Domine lettering in lime. It works just as well as a course completion certificate or a graduation certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], [Class], for outstanding effort and attitude in [Term].
This certificate is awarded to [Name] for the Summer School, [School Year].
In recognition of [Name]’s excellent progress in [Subject]. Keep up the great work!
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the course, duration and credits fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Domine and Figtree. Colours are yours to change: try Lawn & Lido, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
