About this template
Secondary schools, form tutors and student councils reach for designs like this one when they want to reward students and staff: a bright Field Trip Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. The colour scheme you see, Glacier, is one of three built into the design, with flowing waves at the heart of the layout. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
With thanks to [Name] for everything you do for the pupils of [School].
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the destination, duration and coast surveyed lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Trail Orange, Glacier and Desert Day), and every single colour can be changed. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Fredoka and Karla. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
