About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Burgundy Bordered Certificate of Ownership gives boards, foundations and award committees a traditional way to confirm a professional qualification. Ibarra Real Nova sets the title and Public Sans carries the details, with a fine border giving the page its character. You will also find it under Awards & Competitions and Membership on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has demonstrated the competencies required for [Certification]. Assessor: [Assessor name].
Registered: [Name], registration number [0000], effective [Date].
Awarded to [Name] on successful completion of the [Exam] examination, [Date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. The design comes with three colour schemes (Slate & Brass, Hunter & Brass and Claret & Steel), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Ibarra Real Nova and Public Sans. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Noto Naskh Arabic.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
