About this template
Here is a formal way to mark the day someone graduates: the Burgundy Seal High School Diploma, a template that suits middle and high schools. On CerShare it comes in the Oxblood colour scheme, with a round seal as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Cinzel Decorative with Cormorant Garamond. Change a few words and it doubles as a school certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Today we celebrate [Name], graduate of [Year]: may your next steps be as bold as the ones that brought you here.
[Name] has met every requirement of the High School Diploma with determination and good humour. We are proud to call you a graduate.
In honour of [Name], who completed the High School Diploma in [Year]. The tassel moves from right to left, and a new chapter begins.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Prefer another look? Switch to the Parchment and Navy or Slate Green colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Amiri.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
