About this template
The Burgundy Sunburst Employee of the Year Award is a contemporary Employee of the Year Award template that managers, HR teams and company leaders use to recognise the people who keep a team going. Look closely and you will notice a sunburst and corner ornaments, set off by Limelight lettering in burgundy. You will also find it under Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name], [Team]: Employee of the Year. Reliable, generous and always calm under pressure.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding performance and teamwork during [Quarter].
With thanks to [Name] for [Achievement]. Enjoy the reserved parking spot.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. The design comes with three colour schemes (Midnight Gold, Emerald Deco and Claret Deco), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
