About this template
Use this contemporary Award of Excellence to name a winner and make it official. It suits competition organisers, schools and clubs, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. Cherry Swash sets the title and Commissioner carries the details, with a ribbon rosette giving the page its character. You will also find it under Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Winner of [Award name]: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the final grade and course length fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. The design comes with three colour schemes (Iznik Cobalt, Turquoise Glaze and Manganese & Coral), and every single colour can be changed. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Cherry Swash and Commissioner. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
