About this template
Made with tech teams, coding schools and hackathon organisers in mind, this Hackathon Winner Certificate helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. It is shown here in jade, Syncopate headings and Barlow for the smaller text. It works just as well as a certificate of participation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations to [Name] on Hackathon Winner. A well-deserved win.
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, team, project and build time and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Voltage, Acid and Hot Wire), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
