About this template
Made with teachers, subject leads and schools in mind, this Science Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. Look closely and you will notice scattered stars and a bold band of colour, set off by Michroma lettering in teal. It works just as well as a school certificate or a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Winner of Science Award: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Prefer another look? Switch to the Electric Navy or Plum Spark colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
