About this template
Pet owners, vets and pet clubs reach for designs like this one when they want to name a winner and make it official: a formal Best Pet Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. The colour scheme you see, Gallery Burgundy, is one of three built into the design, with a ribbon at the heart of the layout. You will also find it under Family & Life Events on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name], winner of Best Pet Award, [Year].
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Gallery Green, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Mirza.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
