About this template
Made with pet owners, vets and pet clubs in mind, this Good Dog Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. With scattered stars and Fontdiner Swanky headings, it has a cheerful feel, while the Forest Biscuit palette keeps the colours rich. You will also find it under Family & Life Events on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
Winner of Good Dog Award: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
Congratulations to [Name] on Good Dog Award. A well-deserved win.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Fontdiner Swanky and Lexend. The design comes with three colour schemes (Midnight Biscuit, Forest Biscuit and Plum Biscuit), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
