About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Bright Idea Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. On CerShare it comes in the Green Ink colour scheme, with a sunburst as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Bubblegum Sans with Kalam. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name], winner of Bright Idea Award, [Year].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Winner of Bright Idea Award: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Ballpoint Blue or Purple Gel colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Playpen Sans Arabic.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
