About this template
Here is a classic way to name a winner and make it official: the Jade Seal Spring Award, a template that suits schools, clubs and families through the year. With a round seal and Josefin Slab headings, it has a traditional feel, while the Lilac Dusk palette keeps the colours fresh. It works just as well as a certificate of participation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Winner of Spring Award: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
Awarded to [Name], winner of Spring Award, [Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Tulip Garden, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Josefin Slab and Mulish. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with El Messiri.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
