About this template
Here is a classic way to name a winner and make it official: the Chocolate Ribbon Literary Prize Certificate, a template that suits galleries, festivals and arts organisations. Inknut Antiqua sets the title and Schibsted Grotesk carries the details, with a ribbon giving the page its character.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the the 2026 shortlist fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Inknut Antiqua and Schibsted Grotesk. Colours are yours to change: try Clothbound Navy, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
