About this template
Here is a modern way to name a winner and make it official: the Black Wave Most Valuable Player Award, a template that suits coaches, sports clubs and leagues. It is shown here in black, with flowing waves, Oswald headings and Barlow for the smaller text. Change a few words and it doubles as a sports certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Awarded to [Name], winner of Most Valuable Player Award, [Year].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the kills, aces and matches lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Oswald and Barlow. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Prefer another look? Switch to the Court Navy or Teal Volt colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
