About this template
Here is a crisp way to name a winner and make it official: the Teal Seal Top of the Class Award, a template that suits schools, head teachers and form tutors. It is shown here in teal, with a round seal, Chivo headings and Literata for the smaller text. It works just as well as a school certificate or a course completion certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Congratulations to [Name] on the Top of the Class Award. A well-deserved win.
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. The design comes with three colour schemes (Sapphire and Gold, Teal and Amber and Plum and Gold), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
