About this template
Tech teams, coding schools and hackathon organisers reach for designs like this one when they want to put a thank-you in writing: a crisp Open-Source Contributor Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Space Mono sets the title and Space Grotesk carries the details, with scattered stars giving the page its character. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for supporting [Project] from the first day to the last.
Thank you, [Name], for always going the extra mile. We could not have done it without you.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Space Mono and Space Grotesk. The design comes with three colour schemes (Merge Green, Ocean and Amber), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Changa.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
