About this template
Here is a formal way to celebrate a goal that has been reached: the Copper Leafy Certificate of Achievement, a template that suits schools, managers and club leaders. It is shown here in copper, with leaves and branches, Lora headings and Epilogue for the smaller text. Change a few words and it doubles as a graduation certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] set the bar high this year. This certificate is our way of saying: we noticed.
This certificate recognises [Name] for an outstanding achievement: exceptional effort, and an even better outcome.
With congratulations to [Name] for reaching [Milestone], a first for [Organisation].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Colours are yours to change: try Sage, or match your own brand colours. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
