About this template
Here is a traditional way to celebrate a goal that has been reached: the Midnight Sunburst Certificate of Distinction, a template that suits schools, managers and club leaders. With a sunburst and Marcellus headings, it has a formal feel, while the Midnight palette keeps the colours rich.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
Presented with pride to [Name] for an outstanding achievement, from everyone at [Organisation].
[Name] set the bar high this year. This certificate is our way of saying: we noticed.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Prefer another look? Switch to the Noir & Gold or Emerald Noir colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with El Messiri.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
