About this template
Here is a crisp way to celebrate a goal that has been reached: the Purple Banded Jiu-jitsu Belt Certificate, a template that suits martial-arts clubs, dojos and instructors. Look closely and you will notice a bold band of colour, set off by Exo lettering in purple.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented with pride to [Name] for Jiu-jitsu Belt Certificate, from everyone at [Organisation].
[Name] set the bar high this year. This certificate is our way of saying: we noticed.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the training since, programme and next goal fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Gi White, Ocean Gi and Olive Gi), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
