About this template
Schools, managers and club leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to celebrate a goal that has been reached: a clean Certificate of Distinction that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Quattrocento sets the title and Montserrat carries the details, with scattered stars giving the page its character. You will also find it under Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name], whose hard work turned an ambitious goal into a result we can all be proud of.
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
With congratulations to [Name] for reaching [Milestone], a first for [Organisation].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Prefer another look? Switch to the Midnight or Deep Violet colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
