About this template
Made with trade schools, workshops and site managers in mind, this Automotive Mechanic Certificate helps you celebrate a goal that has been reached without starting from a blank page. Look closely and you will notice gears, set off by Germania One lettering in midnight blue.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name], whose hard work turned an ambitious goal into a result we can all be proud of.
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the qualification, workshop hours and specialism fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Prefer another look? Switch to the Garage Red or Olive Shop colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
