About this template
Made with schools, managers and club leaders in mind, this Certificate of Excellence helps you celebrate a goal that has been reached without starting from a blank page. On CerShare it comes in the Amber & Teal colour scheme, with a medal as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Almendra with Cabin. You will also find it under Membership and Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
With congratulations to [Name] for reaching [Milestone], a first for [Organisation].
[Name] set the bar high this year. This certificate is our way of saying: we noticed.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the category and award year fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. The design comes with three colour schemes (Jewel Glass, Amber & Teal and Violet Dusk), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
