About this template
Made with schools, managers and club leaders in mind, this Certificate of Excellence helps you celebrate a goal that has been reached without starting from a blank page. The colour scheme you see, Garnet, is one of three built into the design, with a ribbon rosette at the heart of the layout.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
[Name] set the bar high this year. This certificate is our way of saying: we noticed.
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Prefer another look? Switch to the Midnight Ink or Slate & Sage colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Allura and Crimson Pro. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with El Messiri.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
