About this template
The Gold Ornate Certificate of Distinction is a classic Certificate of Distinction template that schools, managers and club leaders use to celebrate a goal that has been reached. On CerShare it comes in the Oxblood Night colour scheme, with corner ornaments as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Tangerine with Montserrat.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name], whose hard work turned an ambitious goal into a result we can all be proud of.
With congratulations to [Name] for reaching [Milestone], a first for [Organisation].
In recognition of [Name]’s achievement on [Date]. Proof that persistence pays off.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Ink & Gilt, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Aref Ruqaa.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
