About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Bronze Sunburst Elder Visiting Volunteer Certificate gives councils, neighbourhood groups and civic programmes a crisp way to thank volunteers for their time. The colour scheme you see, Rose Parlour, is one of three built into the design, with a sunburst at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for [120] hours of volunteering at [Organisation] in [Year].
In appreciation of [Name], who helped [Number] people through [Programme].
Presented with gratitude to [Name] by everyone at [Organisation].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the visits made and befriending since fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Colours are yours to change: try Parlour Sage, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
