About this template
Here is a crisp way to record training that has been completed: the Navy Medal First Aid Training Certificate, a template that suits HR, compliance and health-and-safety teams. It is shown here in navy, with a medal, Radio Canada headings and Nunito Sans for the smaller text.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for completing the First Aid Training in line with [Standard or policy].
Certificate number [0000]: [Name] completed the First Aid Training on [Date]. Refresher due [Month Year].
This is to confirm that [Name] attended the First Aid Training on [Date] and passed the practical assessment.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the duration, assessment and valid until fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Deep Green & Coral, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
