About this template
CPD providers, professional bodies and L&D teams reach for designs like this one when they want to record training that has been completed: a formal Continuing Education Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. It is shown here in burgundy, with a medal, Crimson Pro headings and Karla for the smaller text. It works just as well as a professional certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Certificate number [0000]: [Name] completed Continuing Education Certificate on [Date]. Refresher due [Month Year].
[Name] has completed Continuing Education Certificate. Please keep this certificate with your training records.
For completing Continuing Education Certificate: [6] hours of training, including theory, practice and a final check.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Ivory & Navy, or match your own brand colours. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Crimson Pro and Karla. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
