About this template
Here is a contemporary way to record training that has been completed: the Burgundy Bordered Permit to Work Certificate, a template that suits energy companies, contractors and HSE trainers. With a fine border and Khand headings, it has a crisp feel, while the Plant Maroon palette keeps the colours fresh.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has completed Permit to Work ([4] CPD hours) on [Date], delivered by [Trainer].
For completing Permit to Work: [6] hours of training, including theory, practice and a final check.
This is to confirm that [Name] attended Permit to Work on [Date] and passed the practical assessment.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, certificate no., course code and duration and the signatures. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Colours are yours to change: try Form Blue, or match your own brand colours. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
