About this template
Football and basketball clubs, coaches and academies reach for designs like this one when they want to honour players, finishers and teams: a bright Basketball Player of the Season Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Racing Sans One sets the title and Hanken Grotesk carries the details, with a bold band of colour giving the page its character.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has been promoted to [Belt or level] at [Club], [Date].
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
Presented to [Name] for completing Basketball Player of the Season. Train hard, play fair, have fun.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Racing Sans One and Hanken Grotesk. Prefer another look? Switch to the Comet Blue or Forest Court colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Alexandria.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
