About this template
If you need to honour players, finishers and teams, this Fencing Certificate does it with a clean layout that sports clubs, coaches and leagues will recognise straight away. Staatliches sets the title and Cormorant Garamond carries the details, with chart lines giving the page its character. You will also find it under Kids and Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] finished [Event] in [Time] on [Date]. Every step counted.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the final bout, weapon and bouts won lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Piste Steel, Navy & Brass and Claret Salle), and every single colour can be changed. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
