About this template
If you need to honour players, finishers and teams, this Youth Football Certificate does it with a bright layout that football and basketball clubs, coaches and academies will recognise straight away. On CerShare it comes in the Mint Day colour scheme, with flowing waves as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Playpen Sans Arabic with Nunito. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has been promoted to [Belt or level] at [Club], [Date].
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the skills i learned this season fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Prefer another look? Switch to the Sunny Pitch or Orange Pop colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
