About this template
If you need to honour players, finishers and teams, this Fishing Tournament Certificate does it with a contemporary layout that hobby clubs, makers and community classes will recognise straight away. The colour scheme you see, Summer Pond, is one of three built into the design, with a sunburst at the heart of the layout. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
Presented to [Name], Fishing Tournament, [Season]. [Goals] goals, [Assists] assists and endless energy.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the weight and peg lines. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Lakeside or Loch Grey colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
