About this template
If you need to honour players, finishers and teams, this Sportsmanship Award does it with a playful layout that secondary schools, form tutors and student councils will recognise straight away. Look closely and you will notice flowing waves and a badge, set off by Alfa Slab One lettering in burgundy. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
Congratulations to [Team], [League] champions [Year].
This certifies that [Name] has been promoted to [Belt or level] at [Club], [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, sport and matches played and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Forest Wool, Navy & Gold and Maroon Varsity), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Alfa Slab One and Barlow Condensed. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Blaka.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
