About this template
Teachers and school leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to reward students and staff: a playful Reading Challenge Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. With a ribbon and Grandstander headings, it has a playful feel, while the Seaside palette keeps the colours fresh. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], [Class], for outstanding effort and attitude in [Term].
In recognition of [Name]’s excellent progress in [Subject]. Keep up the great work!
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the books read lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Storybook, Seaside and Meadow), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Marhey.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
