About this template
Teachers and school leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to reward students and staff: a fun Science Fair Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. With planets and orbits and Exo 2 headings, it has a fun feel, while the Ultraviolet palette keeps the colours rich. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With thanks to [Name] for everything you do for the pupils of [School].
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the for the project lines. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Exo 2 and Catamaran. Colours are yours to change: try Deep Space, or match your own brand colours. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
