About this template
Here is a bright way to reward students and staff: the Burgundy Seal Head Prefect Certificate, a template that suits secondary schools, form tutors and student councils. On CerShare it comes in the Burgundy House colour scheme, with a round seal as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Gabriela with Mulish. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], [Class], for outstanding effort and attitude in [Term].
This certificate is awarded to [Name] for Head Prefect, [School Year].
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the house and year group fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Blazer Navy, Bottle Green and Burgundy House), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Amiri.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
