About this template
Made with certification bodies, assessment centres and training providers in mind, this Certificate of Competence helps you confirm a professional qualification without starting from a blank page. On CerShare it comes in the Charcoal & Coral colour scheme, with a badge as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Host Grotesk with DM Sans. It works just as well as a training certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is hereby recognised as a [Title], having passed the assessment on [Date] with a score of [Score].
[Organisation] confirms that [Name] holds [Certification] at [Level].
This certifies that [Name] has met the requirements of [Certification]. Credential ID [ABC-0000], valid until [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the certificate no. and valid until fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Night Teal & Amber or Navy & Cyan colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
