About this template
Here is a traditional way to confirm a professional qualification: the Orange Chart Black Belt Certificate, a template that suits consultancies, process-improvement trainers and project offices. Look closely and you will notice chart lines and a fine border, set off by Noto Serif Display lettering in orange. Change a few words and it doubles as a training certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has met the requirements of Process Improvement Black Belt. Credential ID [ABC-0000], valid until [Date].
Awarded to [Name] on successful completion of the [Exam] examination, [Date].
This is to certify that [Company] is an authorised [Partner type] of [Organisation] for [Year].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the programme, training and verified savings lines. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. The design comes with three colour schemes (Charcoal & Gold, Midnight & Crimson and Graphite & Copper), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
