About this template
If you need to confirm that someone took part, this International Women's Day Award does it with a crisp layout that schools, cultural centres and community festivals will recognise straight away. Look closely and you will notice flowers and leaves and branches, set off by Poiret One lettering in burgundy. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] participated in [Event], held at [Venue] on [Date].
[Name] attended [Webinar title] on [Date], hosted by [Organisation].
Presented to [Name] for taking part in [Event] and contributing to its success.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. The design comes with three colour schemes (Violet & Sage, Magenta & Teal and Lavender & Olive), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
