About this template
Made with research institutes, labs and science competitions in mind, this Biology Field Research Certificate helps you confirm that someone took part without starting from a blank page. Petrona sets the title and Karla carries the details, with flowers giving the page its character. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for active participation in [Programme], [Dates].
In recognition of [Name]’s participation in Biology Field Research. We hope to see you next year.
Thank you, [Name], for joining [Event] as a [Speaker, panellist or delegate].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the study site, field days and quadrats fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. The design comes with three colour schemes (Meadow, Heathland and Wetland), and every single colour can be changed. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Alexandria.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
