About this template
Here is a timeless way to mark a family moment: the Ocean Blue Geometric Grandparent of the Year Award, a template that suits families, friends and couples. The colour scheme you see, Indigo Thread, is one of three built into the design, with a geometric pattern at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] is officially Grandparent of the Year, as voted by [Family].
Happy [Occasion], [Name]! With all our love, [Family names], [Date].
Awarded to [Name] for [Reason], with hugs from [Family].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Petit Formal Script and Libre Baskerville. The design comes with three colour schemes (Linen & Red Thread, Indigo Thread and Rose & Sage), and every single colour can be changed. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
