About this template
Schools, clubs and families through the year reach for designs like this one when they want to mark a family moment: a timeless Friendship Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. The colour scheme you see, Earthy, is one of three built into the design, with scattered stars at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Happy [Occasion], [Name]! With all our love, [Family names], [Date].
Presented to [Name] for [Years] years of [Reason]. We love you more than words can say.
To [Name], best friend since [Year]. Certified: still the best.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. The design comes with three colour schemes (Summer Threads, Rainbow Pastel and Earthy), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
