About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Gala Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. With flowing waves and Belleza headings, it has a clean feel, while the Blanc de Noirs palette keeps the colours fresh. You will also find it under Volunteering and Participation & Attendance on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Congratulations to [Name] on Gala Award. A well-deserved win.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Brut, or match your own brand colours. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Belleza and Quattrocento. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
