About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Debate Competition Winner Certificate helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. Abril Fatface sets the title and Libre Franklin carries the details, with a laurel wreath giving the page its character. It works just as well as a school certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name], winner of Debate Competition Winner, [Year].
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the the motion lines. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. The design comes with three colour schemes (House Red, Navy Hall and Forest Chamber), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
