About this template
Here is a traditional way to name a winner and make it official: the Charcoal Rosette Order of Merit Certificate, a template that suits boards, foundations and award committees. On CerShare it comes in the Ink & Silver colour scheme, with a ribbon rosette as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Cinzel Decorative with EB Garamond. You will also find it under Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Winner of Order of Merit: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Royal Blue & Gold or Claret & Gold colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
