About this template
Business networks, accelerators and chambers of commerce reach for designs like this one when they want to name a winner and make it official: a classic Business Excellence Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. On CerShare it comes in the Onyx Champagne colour scheme, with a sunburst as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Playfair Display with Jost. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the category, award level and judges’ score lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Midnight Ice, Onyx Champagne and Emerald Night), and every single colour can be changed. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
