About this template
Here is a classic way to put a thank-you in writing: the Sunshine Yellow Sunburst Cafeteria Staff Appreciation Certificate, a template that suits head teachers, school leaders and PTAs. The colour scheme you see, Blue Gingham, is one of three built into the design, with a sunburst at the heart of the layout. You will also find it under School and Employee of the Month on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Thank you, [Name], for always going the extra mile. We could not have done it without you.
In appreciation of [Name], whose time, energy and kindness helped [Organisation] through [Period].
Presented to [Name] with gratitude for sharing your expertise at [Event] on [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Prefer another look? Switch to the Tomato & Mint or Green Gingham colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
